Love Orphans – For Easter

I read this blog, 5 MILLION MINUS 1, tonight and I was so encouraged.  And inspired.  Inspired to do MORE.

We have so much, they have so little.

On the flip side, they have so much (JOY) and we have so little.

 

Here’s an Easter challenge!  Let’s LOVE THE ORPHANS.  LET’S FEED THE ORPHANS.

I challenge each of you (including myself) to give more this Easter season.

I can totally relate to the post above.  I love to buy new cute outfits for my kids and I remember my frilly dresses as a child. This year for Easter, our family will be sporting our

LOVE ORPHANS BECAUSE HE FIRST LOVED US t-shirts.  Isn’t that what Easter is all about?  Jesus’ love, His undying love, His sacrificial love?

And a little note about the small world we live in…the guest writer on this blog is from my hometown in KY.  She is years younger than me so we didn’t know one another very well, but she held my sweet Sydney Grace when she was only an infant.  Doesn’t God have a sense of humor?  🙂
